About Litar
The gadget shop that tells you which one not to buy.
Litar started in 2014 as a two-person phone accessory counter in SS2. Twelve years on, we still give the same advice: buy what you need, from someone who will be there when it breaks.
We are a team of eleven across two stores and a small warehouse in Petaling Jaya. Litar means circuit in Bahasa Melayu, and it fits: most of what we sell runs on one, and most of our customers come back around.
We keep the range short on purpose. Four brands, 22 products, each one tested on our own desks, kitchens and cars before it goes on the shelf. If a cheaper model does the job, we will tell you.
Every unit comes from the brand's local distributor with a local warranty card, and every claim goes through our counter. You deal with the same people who sold it to you.

Five checks on every unit
- Sealed box. Factory seal intact, no dents, no previous returns.
- Power-on test. Charged, switched on and every button tried.
- Serial matched. The box and the unit carry the same serial, logged against your order.
- Warranty card stamped. Dated on the day it ships, so your warranty starts on time.
- Accessories counted. Cables, adaptors and filters checked against the in-the-box list.
