Signature tour, Damansara Heights sample
The same ninety-six square metres, modelled piece by piece and lit with real daylight and lamps. Move from room to room, switch to evening and tap any piece to see what it is made of.
01Room by room
We moved the sofa off the wall and floated it on a wool rug, so the room reads as one calm piece from the door. The oak shelving divides living from kitchen without closing either.
A round table seats four without corners to walk around. The kitchen faces the room, so whoever cooks is still part of the conversation.
A padded linen wall softens sound and frames the bed. Clay limewash on one wall keeps the room warm in the morning light without making it dark at night.
Closed oak wardrobes on one side, an open rail on the other, then a terrazzo ensuite with a round brass mirror and a frameless shower.
02The pieces
Living room
Built low and deep so the window line stays clear and the room feels taller. Loose washed-linen covers come off for cleaning; the terracotta cushions pick up the clay in the kitchen.

Washed linen, oat

A two-sided shelf instead of a wall: books and ceramics face the living room, the kitchen still borrows its light. Solid oak, oiled, with a dark plinth so it reads as furniture.

Hand-woven cane over a warm 2700K bulb, hung 80 cm above the table so it lights faces, not eyes. In the evening it throws a soft pattern across the ceiling.

Fluted panels in a clay finish hide the bins and a dishwasher. The terrazzo top overhangs 35 cm for three stools, and it is cast with local stone chips.

Three padded linen bands run the width of the wall, so the bed, the bedside tables and the lamps sit in one quiet frame. The bed base is oak with a recessed plinth that seems to float.

A floating oak drawer unit with a terrazzo top, a round basin and a wall-mounted brass tap. The mirror is back-lit for evenings, so there is no harsh light over the basin.

04Project notes
The owners work from home three days a week and wanted the apartment to stop feeling like an office. We took out a wall between the second bedroom and the living room, then gave the space back with a shelf instead of plaster.
The palette stays short on purpose: oiled oak, limewash, washed linen, one clay tone and a little brass. Nothing in the apartment needs to be polished, and everything gets better as it is used.
05Why Signature
Daylight bounces off the oak floor and the limewash, pools under the dining window and fades into the corners, exactly as it will in the finished room.
Oak grain, the weave of the linen, the stone chips in the terrazzo and the soft edge on every piece of joinery are modelled, not painted on.
Switch to evening to see each lamp light its own corner, so you sign off the lighting plan with confidence.
