01
The brief
Selasar Advisory's team works in the office three days a week. Their old floor had a desk for everyone and two meeting rooms, so calls happened in corridors and the desks sat half empty.
They asked for a workplace that suited hybrid working, could be built while the team kept working, and felt more like a home than a bank.
02
Our approach
A two-week survey showed peak attendance of 41 people. We planned 40 desks, six meeting rooms of different sizes, four phone booths and a large pantry that doubles as a town hall space.
Oak, linen-wrapped acoustic panels and plenty of planting soften the floor. Works ran in three phases over ten weeks, with noisy work after 7pm.
03
The result
Meeting space doubled on the same floor area. Six months after move-in, the team books the rooms around 70 percent of the working day, and nobody takes calls in the corridor.
