A refit of a 1990s office tower: 1,100 vertical aluminium fins on galvanised steel brackets cut solar gain on the west face and gave the building a new identity.

Overview
The fins were installed from a mast climber while the building stayed fully occupied. Each bracket was set out from a survey of the existing slab edges, which varied by up to 40 mm from floor to floor.
A new steel and glass entrance canopy at street level completes the refit.
